Caryl Kline, DVM

Dr. Caryl Kline is a 1985 graduate of Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine. Undergraduate work was done at Western Kentucky University and Morehead State University where she also completed an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology in 1977. When not at Preston, Dr. Kline spends time with her family, camping and trail riding with her horse Cowboy, working on her farm, and occasionally volunteering at the Shelby Co. Animal Shelter. Pets include: Bubby the Jack Russell, Annie the Dobie, Cleo the lab-beagle mix, cats Lyla, Bambi, and Matt, and horses Charlie, Gus, Cody, and Cowboy

Our clinic was first opened in the mid 1980's by Dr. Henry Fairleigh.  In 1989 Dr. Caryl Kline came on board and then purchased the clinic in 1994.  Not long after, the name was changed to Preston Animal Hospital.

Office Managers

Gretchen and Dwayne have been with Preston Animal Hospital for over 20 years. They share the responsibility of keeping our clinic running efficiently. Presently, Gretchen's responsibilities include running the front desk, ordering drugs and supplies, and accounts receivable. She is experienced in all aspects of veterinary assisting, with special training in intestinal surgical assistance.

Dwayne shares in front desk responsibilities as well, along with clinic financials and accounts payables with Amy. He too is crosstrained in all aspects of veterinary assisting, with special training in orthopedic surgical assistance. We are fortunate to have such caring and dedicated people as a part of our hospital.
